Privacy
Your finances are nobody's business but yours
Most money apps want your bank login, your SMS inbox or an account in their cloud. PocketLedger was built the other way around.
Read the privacy policy →- No internet permission. The app physically cannot send your data anywhere.
- No bank or SMS access. It never reads messages, contacts, location or files.
- No cloud backup. Data isn't copied to any server — not even Google Drive.
- No analytics or ads. We don't know who you are or how you use it.
- You're in control. Uninstalling the app deletes everything.

Questions, answered
Is PocketLedger free?
Yes. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
Where is my data stored?
Only in the app's private storage on your phone. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and the app has no internet permission.
Does it connect to my bank or read my SMS?
No. You add transactions yourself. Bank and UPI app names are just labels you choose for your accounts — the app never contacts them.
What happens if I change phones?
Android's built-in phone-to-phone transfer (when you set up a new phone) can copy the app's data directly between your devices. A manual backup and export option isn't available yet.
Which currencies are supported?
Indian Rupee, US Dollar, Euro and British Pound. Each account has its own currency, and totals are always shown per currency — never converted.
Which phones does it run on?
Android 7.0 or newer. An iPhone version isn't available.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual transactions in the app, or remove everything by uninstalling it (or Android Settings → Apps → PocketLedger → Storage → Clear storage).
