PocketLedger Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
PocketLedger ("the app") is a personal expense-tracking app published by Technopreneurs Technolabs ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
The short version
PocketLedger does not collect, transmit or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores
The app stores the information you enter — transactions (amounts, dates, categories, merchants, notes), accounts (names, types, bank or UPI app names you choose to label them with, opening balances), budgets, your preferences (default currency, theme) and a history of changes you make.
This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
What the app does not do
- It does not require an account, sign-up or login.
- It does not connect to the internet. The app does not request the internet permission.
- It does not connect to your bank, read SMS messages, or access UPI apps, contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.
- It does not contain advertising, analytics or tracking tools.
- It does not back up your data to the cloud.
Labels such as a bank or UPI app name are text you choose for your own reference; the app never contacts those services.
Moving to a new phone
If you use Android's built-in phone-to-phone transfer when setting up a new device, Android may copy the app's data directly from your old phone to your new one. This happens only when you start it, between your own devices.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual transactions inside the app. To delete all data, uninstall the app or use Android Settings → Apps → PocketLedger → Storage → Clear storage. Because we never receive your data, we cannot access, recover or delete it for you.
Children
PocketLedger is a personal finance tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts and does not load fonts or content from other services. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep standard technical access logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operation.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how data is handled (for example, an optional backup feature), we will update this policy and the app's Play Store listing before releasing that version.
